Here is an attempt to create running water similar to that from a tap; again, this was made by playing around with particle flow, this time using the blobmesh setting. I put in a UDeflector on the plane to try and create a 'splash' like effect. Quite pleased with how it turned out.
Next step will be to try and add a puddle, or a bucket slowly filling...

a nice effect with text, thought this could maybe used for an intro/credits of an animation etc...would be a little more interesting than flat 2d text.

Been having a play around with the particle flow features in 3ds max over the xmas holiday. Pretty cool stuff...i reckon you could make some interesting stuff with it. Heres some of the stuff ive made so far...
